Kristi Button – Kristi (aka: “KB”) was the store’s first full-time employee. She came to Tangerine in 2004 with an extensive retail background and irresistible personality. Her knowledge of celebrity fashion trends and her ability to create a wide variety of different “looks” to meet client needs sets her apart. She is well-travelled and has an active social calendar – so she always knows the perfect outfit for any occasion. She lives with her husband, Jimmy, in San Marcos.
Amanda Hughes – Amanda has been a staple at Tangerine since April 2005. She is particularly talented at working with the store’s trendier clients and while she enjoys more classic looks as well, she can outfit you for a weekend in Vegas like nobody’s business! Her knowledge of the product, her love for fashion and her sweet and friendly disposition make her one of Tangerine’s biggest assets.
Robyn Rogers – Robyn has been on board at Tangerine since January 2007. Her energetic personality and contagious sense of humor make her a favorite to work with among co-workers and clients alike. Robyn and her husband (Frank) own a house on the River – and while she is well-rounded in all aspects of fashion – her expertise is in casual weekend wear. Robyn and Frank have one daughter (Taylor, 5) and live in Temecula.
Kourtney Drake – Kourtney came to Tangerine in 2006 as a sales associate, but her true talents were soon discovered and she accepted the position of office manager. Her love of fashion and trend-spotting-talent, as well as her creative merchandising abilities and cheery disposition make her a natural fit at Tangerine. She handles all the behind-the-scenes action, is efficient and organized and is a critical part of the Tangerine team.
Michelle Pavlousky – Michelle is a long-time part-timer at Tangerine. The wife of a fireman, her schedule is divided between caring for the men in her life (husband, Glenn and two boys: Jack, 4 and Brady, 2) and fitting in hours at the store. Her experience as both a mom and a fashionista gives her the unique ability to help new moms maintain their fashion sense, even while breast-feeding or changing diapers.
Lindsay Suchy – When Lindsay’s not working at Tangerine, she is either taking college courses toward her pre-med degree, on a photo shoot for a high-paying modelling job or out riding her motorcycle. She is the quintessential tomboy and therefore is an expert at finding the perfect jeans for any client. Her easy style reflects her casual, energetic and fashionable attitude and makes her a perfect compliment to the Tangerine team.

For TANGERINE owners, Leigh Donovan and Jennifer Gabrielli, owning a clothing boutique was the farthest thing from their minds. Leigh was enjoying huge success as a professional mountain bike racer, with over ten years in the hub of the cycling community, she accumulated national and world championship titles, winning countless events in both BMX and downhill mountain biking.
Leigh could be seen in any mountain bike magazine (racing or through interviews) or atop the podium every weekend. A former World Champion, Leigh was looking forward to a long, fulfilling career in the cycling industry.
While Jennifer dabbled in bike racing (that’s how the girls met), her real talent was in the field marketing and public relations and for nearly 10 years, she headed up marketing departments in the action sports industry, fitting in some racing on the side.
In 1999, the girls landed the same sponsor and became teammates, racing for Intense Cycles, a Temecula-based custom mountain bike manufacturer. Leigh and Jennifer became fast friends and kept in touch after the season ended. In 2001, following Leigh’s retirement from pro racing, Jenn tipped her off to job in her field and once again, the girls were working together and having lots of fun.
It was at a trade show in Las Vegas in 2002 when the girls began making plans to open a clothing store together.
Exactly one year later, the duo signed their lease at the Bel Villaggio shopping center (which was yet to break ground at the time).
This summer, Tangerine is celebrating its SEVEN year anniversary and the girls have not looked back. The store has gained a reputation for having great clothes and fabulous service.
Leigh and Jennifer also realize the importance of giving back to their community and Tangerine has become a well-known contributor to local organizations and individuals in need.
Since 2003 Tangerine has been Temecula/Murrieta valley’s premiere fashion destination. Stop by for the best selection in designer merchandise and the best customer service you will ever experience.
